§ 9-2-71. Establishment of primary fire district.

The following boundaries describe the primary fire district limits:

Beginning at a point 200 feet east of the east side of Johnson Street and 150 feet north of the north side of East Lexington Avenue; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east side of Johnson Street to a point 150 feet south of the south side of East Lexington Avenue; thence westerly along a line parallel to the south side of East Lexington Avenue to a point 150 feet east of the east side of North Main Street; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east side of North Main Street; to the south side of East Parkway; thence easterly from this point along the south side of East Parkway to the west side of North Hamilton Street; thence southerly from this point along the west side of North Hamilton Street to the south side of East Westwood Avenue; thence easterly along the line of the south side of East Westwood Avenue extended to a point 150 feet east of the east side of North Hamilton Street; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east side of North Hamilton Street to a point 150 feet north of the north side of East Kivett Drive; thence easterly along a line parallel to the north side of East Kivett Drive to a point 150 feet north of the dead end of East Washington Drive; thence easterly along a line parallel to East Washington Drive to the westerly side of North Centennial Avenue; thence southerly along a line parallel to the west side of North Centennial Avenue to the center line of the main line of the Southern Railroad right-of-way; thence easterly along the center line of the Southern Railroad main line right-of-way to a point 150 feet east of the east side of North Hamilton Street; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east side of South Hamilton Street to a point 150 feet south of the south side of East Russell Street; thence westerly along a line parallel to East Russell Street to the west side of South Hamilton Street; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east side of South Main Street to the north side of Springdale Avenue; thence westerly along the north side of Springdale Avenue to a point 150 feet west of the west side of South Main Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of South Main Street to a point 150 feet south of the south side of West Grimes Street; thence westerly along a line parallel to the south side of West Grimes Street to a point 150 feet west of the west side of South Elm Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of South Elm Street to the north side of West Russell Street; thence westerly along the north side of West Russell Street to a point 250 feet west of the west side of South Elm Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of South Elm Street to a point 150 feet south of the south side of West Green Street; thence westerly along a line parallel to the south side of West Green Drive to the east side of Dalton Street; thence northerly along the east side of Dalton Street to the north side of West Kivett Drive; thence from this point northerly along a straight line to a point 200 feet west of the west side of Lindsay Street and 150 feet south of the south side of English Road; thence westerly along a line parallel to the south side of English Road to a point 150 feet west of the west side of Chestnut Drive; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of Chestnut Drive to a point 150 feet north of the north side of English Road; thence easterly along a line parallel to the north side of English Road to a point 150 feet west of the west side of Pine Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of Pine Street to a point 150 feet north of the north side of Church Street; thence easterly along a line parallel to the north side of Church Street to the east side of North Elm Street; thence northerly along the east side of North Elm Street to the north side of West Westwood Avenue; thence from this point northerly along a straight line to the northeast corner at the intersection of West Ray and North Elm Street; thence from this point easterly along the north side of West Ray Street to a point 200 feet west to the west side of North Main Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of North Main Street to a point 150 feet north of the north side of Sunset Drive; thence easterly along the line parallel to Sunset Drive to a point 150 feet west to the west side of North Main Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of North Main Street to a point 150 feet south of the south side of West Lexington Avenue; thence westerly along a line parallel to the south side of West Lexington Avenue to a point 400 feet west of the west side of North Main Street; thence northerly along a line parallel to the west side of North Main Street to a point 150 feet north of the north side of West Lexington Avenue; thence easterly along a line parallel to the north side of West and East Lexington Avenues to the point of beginning.
