§ 5-2-25. Fees; collection by chief of fire department.

Any fees for permits or licenses pertaining to the fire department, fire prevention or fire protection required by this code shall be collected by the chief of the fire department or by some person authorized to so do by the chief and the license or permit shall be issued by the chief or the person authorized by him to do so.
