§ 2-1-19. Committees; standing and special; mayor to appoint members; reports.

With the advice and consent of a majority of the city council, the mayor may appoint standing and special committees, and may require those committees to make investigations of a special or general nature and to file a written report with the city council at a subsequent regular meeting.
