§ 2-1-12. Special meetings; notice; business to be considered.

Special meetings of the city council may be called by the mayor, city manager or by any two (2) members of the city council at any time to consider only those matters as shall be mentioned in the call for the meeting, and written notice of which shall be given to each member of the city council; provided, that public notice shall be given of the special meeting as required by G.S. 143-318.12.
