§ 11-2-104. Temporary taxicab regulations.

(a)

In addition to all other rules of this chapter, a temporary taxicab permit holder shall comply by the following:

(1)

Locations of receiving and discharging passengers will be set by the taxicab inspector and the director of transportation.

(2)

Rules of order at all taxicab stands and throughout the downtown area, as set by the taxicab inspector, shall be observed.

(3)

Drivers are to be familiar with the City of High Point, local airports, major landmarks, how to read a map, and the English language.

(4)

Local trips may not be refused, except a trip of less than two (2) city blocks.

(5)

Taxicabs are not to be left unattended in taxicab stands.
